Members of the Foundation are ambassadors for the Foundation. They network in our community on the Foundation’s behalf, spreading the word about our Community Grant Program focused on qualified health and human service nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations and our Osteopathic Medical Student Scholarship program. Members are expected to provide financial support to the Foundation as well as attend membership meetings. Members may want to be engaged on a committee or at the board level, and may want to participate in the Foundation’s Community Service Projects.
There are two membership classifications, one of which has voting power: Member. The second classification of membership is Osteopathic Medical Students enrolled in a College of Osteopathic Medicine. Members meet at least once annually to elect Board members and review any other business that may come before them. Voting members are eligible to serve on committees and the Board; student members may serve on committees.
