To improve the health and well-being of our community consistent with our Osteopathic heritage
To be recognized as a leader in supporting community health solutions
Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation is organized as a 501(c)(3) 509a nonprofit organization and operates exclusively for charitable purposes. As such, the Foundation is a private non-operating foundation. The Foundation’s purpose is to improve the health and well-being of our community consistent with its Osteopathic heritage. It accomplishes this by awarding grants to qualified health-related nonprofit organizations in El Paso and Teller counties that meet its mission priorities, by awarding scholarships to osteopathic medical students, and collaborating with like-minded organizations to develop solutions to meet community health needs.
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Director. The Board is represented equally by Osteopathic Physicians and non-Osteopathic Physicians.
